The Journey to Pair Finance

 

I’m Celeste, the founder of Pair Finance. Although I started out in law, marketing and tech entrepreneurship, I’ve decided to refocus into a passion of mine that was instilled in me from an early age by my mum. A great inspiration to me, my mum taught me how to use property as a tool to secure my future.

On a secretary’s salary, my Mum single-handedly supported our family of five while also amassing a portfolio of five properties including our family home. She encouraged us to do the same. To save and invest in property and to understand how to use loans and not to be intimidated by banks and lenders. She firmly believed in the old adage ‘safe as houses’ and thanks to her foresight, she secured her retirement and gave us priceless lessons in how to do the same.

After being a tenant for several years while studying and working, I invested in properties until deciding to step into my own apartment. Once I needed more space, I constructed my own home via a construction loan, then continued investing in more properties. I have also upgraded my home as my family grew. During this journey of being a first home buyer to a property investor, I have to learn about the details of home loans in particular setting up the right structure for investment. It led to a desire to learn more and to one day help myself and others. My aim is to provide the kind of service I would have liked to receive.

My fortés, which I share with my clients, include my passion and persistence, my legal background, sharp negotiation skills, knowledge of property and loan structures.
